God’s promise for you today is found in Philippians 4:6-7 which says “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

We see in this passage of scripture that Paulo isn’t telling us to pray and worry but rather he’s telling us to pray and not be anxious Prayer is how we give God all of our anxiety. This is what prayer is all about, acknowledging that we can’t carry the weight of worry alone and that’s why through prayer, we present our burdens to Him.

Prayer is a positive force and worry is a negative force. If we are worried, we aren’t trusting God. Therefore, may we learn to cast our cares on the Lord, rest and receive that peace He offers that surpasses all understanding.
